sublimation shops: common questions

What does Printer's Friend track for sublimation?
Substrate, press cycle and panel layout per job, with pricing built around the substrate and press time rather than around ink colours, since sublimation has no colour count in the screen print sense.
Can it handle cut-and-sew or all-over work?
Panel-based jobs can be quoted and tracked as line items with their own production stages, though the platform does not do pattern design itself.
Why does sublimation need a separate price model?
Because its cost is driven by substrate and press cycle, not by colours or impressions. Bending it into a screen print matrix produces prices that are wrong at both ends.
